「海外香港傳媒專業人員協會」(簡稱：「傳協」）將於2022年6月11-12日，在倫敦Hayes 的 Global Academy 主辦兩日活動：「Repower HKers」。旨在為海外香港人提供新的動力，建立海外香港公民社會。 活動包括： 1. 七場主題為「重建海外香港公民社會」研討會: 主辦單位邀請了身居海外的香港新聞工作者、學者及社交媒體KOL出席，包括：蕭若元、沈旭暉、吳明德、曹嘉超、曾志豪、鄭敬基、何良懋、王俊彥、龍華琛（「住加男人」）等，分別在英國、加拿大、美國、澳洲及台灣五地即時聯播。 研討範圍：香港公民社會遭碾碎得還剩多少，香港移民的挑戰與機遇，香港文化如何傳承，及海外香港族群的發展等。 2. 香港市集: 有抗爭藝術品展覽，及各式香港人營運的小攤檔，包括香港美食、抗爭文創手工藝、香港禁書、懷舊產品等，亦有教廣東話故事等活動，適合一家老少參與，藉此凝聚散居英國各地香港人，重溫香港情懷，重嘗香港味道，傳承香港文化。 整項活動獲Hong Kong Watch（香港監察）全力支持。即將面世的網媒HK Press ON 、多倫多的HongKonger Station（香港台）及英國的Victoria Harbour Group (UK) Limited，全力贊助場租及活動行政費用。
The Association of Overseas Hong Kong Media Professionals (in short, AOHKMP) will host “Repower HKers”, a two-day event on 11 and 12 June 2022 at the Global Academy in Hayes, London. Our aim is to bring new momentum to the community of overseas Hongkongers and forge Hong Kong civil society overseas. Activities include: 1. Seven forums on “Rebuilding Hong Kong Civil Society Overseas” : We invited Hong Kong media professionals overseas, academics and social media opinion leaders to participate in the seven forums, including: Stephen SIU, Simon SHEN, Victor NG, Anthony CAO, Chi-Ho TSANG, Joseph TAY, Victor HO, Chris WONG, Sam LUNG etc. These will all be broadcast live in the UK, Canada, the US, Australia and Taiwan simultaneously. Topics of the forum: crackdown on Hong Kong civil society: what is left, challenges and opportunities for the Hong Kong diaspora, passing on Hong Kong cultural heritage, prospects for the Hong Kong diaspora/communities overseas. 2. The Hong Kong Fair : The Fair showcases protest artwork and a range of stalls run by Hongkongers including Hong Kong snacks, protest handicrafts, books banned in Hong Kong, Hong Kong nostalgic memorabilia, and even teaching Cantonese stories etc. All activities suitable for families, adults and children. This will be a great opportunity for Hongkongers in the UK to reassemble and reminisce in Hong Kong nostalgia, relieve Hong Kong flavours, pass on Hong Kong culture. The two-day event is fully supported by Hong Kong Watch, sponsored by the soon-to-be launched website HK Press ON, the Toronto-based HongKonger Station and the Victoria Harbour Group (UK) Limited.
